Designed to fit one (1) double car garage door (up to 8-feet by 20-feet) or two single car garage doors (up to 8-feet by 10-feet), this HEAVY-DUTY reflective insulation kit is  lightweight yet tough, resists tearing, corrosion, and wear over time, and minimizes energy loss to support lower heating and cooling costs and increased comfort year-round.

  • one (1) heavy-duty easy-to-cut reflective bubble insulation roll 2-ft by 80-ft for a total of 160-sf

Installation Instructions

Please read and follow all the steps below to ensure proper installation.

 Products Suggested 

  • RadiantGUARD® Garage Door Insulation Kit or any other RadiantGUARD reflective product.

 Materials Needed 

  • Tape measure
  • Utility knife or scissors
  • Double-sided foam pieces (included) or spray adhesive
  • Aluminum foil tape (included)

 General Instructions 

  1. Count and measure all the door panels and cut the reflective insulation to fit each of your panels.
  2. Clean the indoor surfaces of the garage door panels with an alcohol-based degreaser/cleaner to remove any grease or grim to ensure the panels stick well once installed.NOTE: If you use any other cleaner, go back over the garage door panels with alcohol/water to remove any residue that some cleaners leave on surfaces.
  3. Peel off the backing of an included 1-inch by 2-inch double-sided foam piece and adhere one to each corner of each door panel surface and apply firm pressure.
  4. Peel off the remaining backings to expose the sticky surface. Position each reflective insulation piece into place and press firmly against each adhesive piece.

Use the included reflective tape as necessary to secure as you see fit.
